On the occasion of the return of a large part of the benin bronzes, the focus was on breaking the prevailing architecture of the exhibition space in the museum.
The bronzes, in contrast to the 19th century, are now presented with their importance and value no longer as in a treasure chamber, but on a long plain table. The old "treasury" display cases are now used as an information pavilion for the restitution process.
